Project Description:
In this project, I was tasked with creating a comprehensive booklet that illustrated the lyrics to the song "Older" by Alec Benjamin, through the exclusive use of type. By using minimalistic illustrations and a handmade aesthetic to represent the mood of the song, I was able to create a booklet with a common theme to represent the hardships of growing up, as is described by the song's lyrics. The ending result showcases a proficiency in creating a comprehensive book layout, that caters to a specific them and is conformed to specific grids and proportions to better create a balanced and aesthetically pleasing design.
